Since 1981 Bergsala AB, with its head office in Kungsbacka and marketing office in Nyköping, has been the sole agent for Nintendo in the Nordic countries and the Baltic States.

In November of 2001, Article 19 was engaged to develop interactive online games as central components of a promotional contest for Nintendo's Game Cube.

The final games (hockey & soccer simulations) feature rich graphics, realistic audio effects and character animation. The games have been connected to a back-end server to manage a team-based high score database.
