ExploreLearning's Gizmos™ are exemplary multimedia simulations that bring life to a full range of subjects, from Algebra to English. The hands-on learning that Gizmos provide combines with assessment tracking to result in student and teacher success.

In 2003, a member of Article 19 served as a consultant on the development of the latest generation of Gizmos, and providing leadership and project management services to ExploreLearning's multimedia production group.

Project responsibilities included: Coordinating the activities of both the internal production group as well as a team of distributed consultants; Managing the production of individual media elements and their integration into the final product(s); Content management including version management, site maintenance, and release strategy; Multimedia authoring, Lingo scripting, image processing, sound editing, and other hands-on media creation and manipulation.

In October, 2003, ExploreLearning launched a brand new subscription-based Web site featuring hundreds of Gizmos and associated curriculum materials.
