Project: 2004 Interactive Holiday Greeting Card

Article 19 provided production resources to Discreet, collaborating
on their 2004 multi-lingual interactive holiday greeting card.
The innovative concept involved randomly presenting pieces
of a face from a database of faces (of Discreet employees).
Individual pieces could be clicked and 'frozen' allowing for
the creation of a wide variety of unique combinations.
The solution involved the development of a modular architecture
that permitted easy edits of both the photos and the greeting
message. The resultant streaming application was deployed
in seven languages, all sharing a core playback engine and
photo library.
